Seat & Tire Conveyor
Scope of services
Leadec designed, built and installed greenfield seat & tire conveyor systems in this new assembly shop utilizing the Siemens Wave 6 control system. This project also included the design and build of separate truss mounted mezzanines to support the seat conveyors and tire conveyors, and included engineering, fabrication, electrical, mechanical, automation and project management services.

ASRS Crane Integration

Scope of services
Leadec delivered a turnkey refurbishment of existing engine stackers and conveyance equipment.
Challenges of project
- Obsolete stacker cranes required complete mechanical overhaul and upgrade of controls to new standards
- Obsolete equipment was required to be replaced new due to antiquated design and recurring maintenance issues
Work performed
- Two stacker cranes with completely refurbished mechanical and controls
- Replacement of the following equipment
- Eight (8) Turntables
- Nineteen (19) Lift Tables
- Refurbishment of Five (5) Lifters
Friction Drive and Skillet System
- Customer: Automotive OEM
Scope of services
Deliver turnkey trim line complete with skillets and powered lift tables utilizing Inductive Power System, and entry and exit lifters.
Challenges of project
- Quick timeline (less than 1 year from PO award to Production Start)

- Ninety (90) new skillets with powered lift tables with indexing BHP‘s
- SEW Inductive Power and SMGM communication system
- Leadec designed rail system utilizing continous support design to prolong equipment and rail life

MDR Conveyor Integration

Scope of services
Deliver turnkey tire conveyor system with mezzanine to deliver tires from dock door to lineside.
Challenges of project
- Extremely quick timeline (less than 8 months from PO award to Production Start)
- All aspects of the project had to be expedited from design and material procurement to logistics and installation
