Case Study: White Goods

A major white goods manufacturer with 2 million sq. ft. of facility space was experiencing excessive downtime on their production lines due to a lack of preventive maintenance and undeveloped technical knowledge in its team.

Along with that, they were unable to retain employees long enough to have a team develop specialized technical skills. The manufacturers were looking to transition to a highly automated production facility and wanted to elevate their team’s skill levels.

In 2018, they recognized the need to improve plant productivity and brought on Leadec, a global leader in Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM), to improve asset reliability, reduce plant downtime, and increase employee retention and technical knowledge.
